On the afternoon of December 2, the 2019 enterprise course project-style learning results Report meeting of Jingdezhen College of Ceramic Art and Design (Ceramics Education Direction) professional enterprise course was held in the Multimedia Hall of Baitao Ceramic Education Center. The school was led by Jiang Qiang, director of the Art Teaching and Research Department and associate professor, and 43 students from two classes listened to the report. The grading teacher scored the six programs according to the comprehensiveness of the content, the professionalism of the design and the completeness of the design.
The six programs involved in the report came from six program companies, namely "CAE Company" "X City University Training Room Project", "Tao Away from the Earth Company" "X City University Training Room Project", "Tao Tao Le Company" "J City Ceramic Science Museum Project", "New fire test new porcelain" "J City Ceramic Science Museum Project", "Tao Ability Company" "E Province Research Base Project", And "Art pottery company" "F school proofing Center, B exhibition hall and sales project". The project focuses on creating a high-level, functional and modern pottery space for in-depth exploration and design.
What is project-based learning?
As early as 2019, The General Office of the State Council issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Reform of Ordinary High School Education Methods in the New Era, and proposed interdisciplinary comprehensive teaching such as "Project design"; In the same year, the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued the Opinions on Deepening Education and Teaching Reform and Comprehensively Improving the quality of Compulsory Education, again emphasizing "project-based learning"; At the end of 2020, Shanghai, as a bellwether city of education reform, officially launched the "three-year action Plan for compulsory education project learning", which undoubtedly released an important signal. On the practical level, many schools have tried to use project-based learning as a starting point to stimulate the vitality of teaching.
The above policies are not difficult to interpret, and project-based learning is becoming an important direction of educational methods and curriculum teaching reform. Compared with the traditional teaching mode, the innate value and advantages of project-based learning (PBL) are constantly recognized, recognized and explored. The major of Art Education (Ceramic Education direction) of the School of Ceramic Art and Design was jointly established by Jingdezhen College and Baitao Association in 2019, and is the first ceramic education major in China.

In addition to the regular art courses, the ceramic education major also offers related courses such as ceramic history, ceramic glaze decoration, ceramic underglaze decoration, modern ceramic art, ceramic modeling and design, life ceramic art, ceramic painting language practice, ceramic technology, ceramic art education, ceramic practical training room construction and management, educational practice, and art investigation. Taught by provincial and municipal masters of arts and crafts, non-genetic inheritors and experienced ceramic teachers of pottery education.
This report shows the phased results of project-based learning in Jingdezhen College. In the past month, students in various groups have carried out efficient division of labor and cooperation, including background investigation and analysis at home and abroad in the early stage, and space design with their own characteristics. Some schemes have begun to be feasible, and the report is a summary of learning in the previous stage. It is also one of the keys to help colleges and universities open the future integration model of production and education.
